In one of the most read articles ever on this site, I wrote about how kindergarten spots at Penn Alexander are not guaranteed to students within its catchment. It’s great that the district has a school that inspires parents (yes, with the help of Penn in this case), but clearly there is something wrong with a system that necessitates parents camping out overnight in single digit temperatures.
